NQC Monday Recap
Today was a very important day for Gospel Music. The SGMA Hall of Fame officially reopened at their new permanent home at the Biblical Times Theater in Pigeon Forge. After watching God open doors for the SGMA to have a place in this location, it was an honor for the NQC Board of Directors, MTQ and several others to be present for this special celebration.
Arthur Rice led a tour through the museum and then we arrived at the wall. So many of our heroes and friends are represented there – knowing that their legacy will live on in that place was a special moment. It was also the place where the ribbon was cut and this new era began. We pray the legacy of this music will continue to be represented at this location for many, many years to come!
Back at the LeConte Center, MTQ had a radio interview with Rodney Baucom and the Gospel Greats. It’s always a pleasure to work with Rodney! (Stay tuned for info on when the show will air!) Later that evening, Mark sang with the Second Half Quartet on Main Stage. A great way to close out the first day of NQC!
