Recent Hymn Sing Taping
On May 20th the Hymn Sing Tour completed their Spring Tour with a DVD taping at Indian Trail Baptist Church in North Carolina. This DVD will be the fourth in the Hymn Sing Series! We’re blessed to be a part of those who want these beautiful lyrics of grace to continue ministering to Believers in our world today. The DVD will be ready for release in a few months, but until then, we want to share a little bit of the evening with you.
For this taping, we came together with Greater Vision, Jim Brady Trio, Whisnants, Mylon Hayes Family, Tribute Quartet, Suzanne Hise, Maria Wolfe, Matthew Slemp and special guest Jeanie Johnson. We were accompanied by our band, Stan Whitmire (piano), Sandy Peyton (B3 Organ), Stone Carter (drums), Mylon Hayes (bass guitar) and the beautiful Indian Trail Choir. With those folks and all the folks in the audience, we sang classic hymns for two hours straight! Along the way, we were blessed to be featured on different hymns throughout the evening. Randy sang with Kennedy Hayes, Suzanne Hise and Aaron Hise on “Someday, Someday,” Nick joined Matthew Slemp and Aaron Hise on “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be” and Blake had a solo on “Pass Me Not.” Since Stan played piano all evening, our pianist, Trevor, sat in the balcony with Ben Wolfe and helped run the lyric screens. Trevor had been assigned this job for the last few Hymn Sing Tours, and he’s done a great job! Mark was called up for lines on several hymns as well, and the whole evening was wonderful. There’s nothing better than when God’s children come together to sing His praises!

The DVD is now in post-production. This process can take three to four months, but don’t worry, if you follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) or receive our monthly newsletter, we’ll keep you updated and announce the release date as soon as we know!
